Discover Kodaikanal
The Princess of Hill Stations
A Journey Through Time
Set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills, Kodaikanal is a peaceful hill station located in the Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu. Established by American Christian missionaries and British bureaucrats in 1845, it served as a refuge from the high temperatures and tropical diseases of the plains.
Today, it is famous for its star-shaped Kodai Lake, the unique Kurinji flowers that bloom once every 12 years, and its vast untouched off-road trails that cut deep into the Western Ghats—perfect for a rugged Jeep Safari.
